Bath & Body Works Has Sheet Masks?

Face masks are something that I’ve incorporated into my skin care routine for awhile now. I would not call myself a mask connoisseur but, I do at least one a week. Lately it’s been a hydrating enzyme mask or Tatcha’s “Violet-C Radiance Mask. My skin struggles are texture, dryness, and sensitivity! Occasionally I’ll have a break out when Aunt Flo comes for her monthly visit. But, other than that my skin is in check as long as I keep up my daily routine.

After a stroll through Bath and Body Works I discovered that they now sell sheet masks! Although they are known selling skincare it’s never been for the face. They sell amazing scrubs, fine mists, creams, oil, etc. that I am addicted to. But all of those products are for the body. They even sell bath bombs! Honestly I am not sure what brought this wave on for them to venture out a bit. Nonetheless I decided to try it out.

I picked up 4 out of the 6 available. The packaging is really cute however, it is not informative. The packaging states the key ingredients the masks focuses on and the directions-at the bottom in small print there is a full list of ingredients. The rest of the packaging is just cute phrases and designs. But, if you are not familiar with the key ingredients then how do you know know what to expect from each masks? For instance they have a mask with hyaluronic acid. I know what it is but, does the average person? Research is key when buying skincare products. Each mask retails for $4.95 normally but for now they’re 2 for $5. I think it is a fair price.

Last night I decide to give one a go and I opted for the “Cool As A Cucumber” mask. The key ingredients it focuses on are cucumber and aloe extracts. I choose this one because I exfoliated that morning and I wore a full face of glam all day. I figured my skin need a calming session after the long day. I pre-cleansed, cleansed, and patted my face dry before applying the sheet to my face. To no surprise the lay out was just like every other sheet mask with the eyes and mouth cut out. The mask itself was of a thicker cloth and smelled a bit like cucumbers. The directions stated to keep it on for 10-15 minutes. I decided to try it for 15 minutes to get all of the benefits it had to offer. I laid down and closed my eyes to let the magic begin. A few minutes in my skin began to tingle but in a good way. The mask gave off a cooling sensation. Once the 15 minutes were up I removed the mask and massaged the excess into my skin as directed.

This morning I woke up to a clear face. I am so happy this mask worked out for the better. Although my expectations for this mask were not high I am throughly pleased. I am not suggesting you run out and buy them all but try one. Realize one may say it has hyaluronic acid but, realistically it may only contain 1%. After all Bath and Body Works is known for having the works for your baths and body. Not including your face!

If you have tried one of these masks before comment your thoughts down below!

XoXo, B
